After some gusty weekend Santa Ana winds, Los Angeles will have plenty of sunshine each day through the new year.
The marine layer will be very weak to nonexistent, thanks to a light offshore flow.
Temperatures will be above seasonal normals reaching into the mid-70s for the next week.
Sunny skies and plenty of sunshine will be present in the city through the beginning of 2014.

New Year's Eve will be partly cloudy in the city, but temperatures will hover around 50 degrees with a less than 5 percent chance of precipitation.
Through Saturday, Downtown Los Angeles has only received 3.60 inches of rain in 2013, according to the National Weather Service. This will go down as the driest calendar year on record.
On New Year's Day In Pasadena, Calif., the weather looks to be sunny with light winds for the Tournament of Roses Parade, with temperatures climbing through the 50s and into the 60s.
No rain is in the forecast through the end of this week.
