Following a practice session interrupted by rain on Thursday, dry weather is on tap for the Grand Prix in Monaco Sunday.
Showers and thunderstorms swept across Monaco on Thursday, bringing showers to the practice rounds for the Grand Prix de Monaco. Part of the region was hit by gusty thunderstorms and hail on Thursday.
As expected by AccuWeather.com, the second of two practice sessions at Monte Carlo, Monaco, on Thursday was disrupted by the rain.
However, dry weather returned to Monaco on Friday, making for a pleasant day for any sightseeing in the region, as there are no scheduled practice sessions.

This dry weather continued into Saturday for the final practice session which was followed by qualifying during the afternoon.
Temperatures Saturday peaked around 21 C (70F).
The threat of rainfall will increase on Sunday, although any rain will likely be limited to late in the day, after the race comes to an end. Any rainfall on the tight, city streets of Monaco could make for a dangerous time and risk crashes for any of the competitors. To add to this, this rain may be accompanied by lightning as it first moves in, so any spectators will need to stay alert even after the race.
A period of rain is then likely Sunday night or Monday morning as some spectators begin their travel home following the race.

The weather at The Monaco Grand Prix looks unbelievable. It'd be nice to have a yacht in the harbour watching that. #Jealous

I can't wait to watch the Monaco Grand Prix tomorrow, always an interesting race. I'd love to see Rosberg top Hamilton and win it again.
