Seattle: Damp Heading into Memorial Day

May 24,2014; 10:48PM,EDT

Wet weather moving into the Seattle area Sunday afternoon could put a damper on Memorial Day weekend festivities.
"It'll be fairly unsettled this weekend and rather cool. Your Sunday barbecue is in the most jeopardy," said Dave Samuels, AccuWeather.com meteorologist.
Sunday will see highs in the mid-60s with a bit of rain in the afternoon. The high on Sunday is right around normal for this time of year.

For Memorial Day, there will be times of clouds and sun with sports showers throughout the day and into the evening.
The first half of next week will be cloudy and rainy, though sun and a rise in temperatures into the 70s will appear heading into next weekend.
