Cooler weather accompanied by spotty showers will linger in the Seattle area into the weekend.
"A weak storm system will move through Oregon during Wednesday afternoon, spreading clouds northward and perhaps a shower or two, but most of the rainfall should be well to the south of the greater Seattle area," AccuWeather Meteorologist Randy Adkins said.
Highs will be right around normal in the low 70s. Overnight lows will stay in the mid-50s through Wednesday.

Cooler weather will move in following the first storm system as it passes to the east, he said, adding that it will be followed by a couple of disturbances that will remain through Thursday into Friday.

Looking ahead into next week, the rainy weather will depart for mostly sunny skies on Monday and Tuesday with temperatures soaring into the mid-70s.
