To kick off the new week, temperatures will remain on the rise and there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day through Thursday.
It will be warm and humid Monday and Tuesday with highs in the upper 80s both days.
On Monday evening, the storms should clear out of the area before the Detroit Tigers and Oakland Athletics play a 7:08 p.m. EDT game at Comerica Park.

The start of July will kick off with heavy, gusty thunderstorms arriving towards dawn on Tuesday.
There will be some relief from the high heat later in the week as temperatures reach the low 80s on Wednesday and the mid-70s on Thursday. A chance of a shower or thunderstorms will remain Wednesday.
For the Fourth of July holiday, good weather is in store for barbecues and other outdoor activities, as it will be sunny and pleasant on Friday with highs in the upper 70s.
