Detroit will have slightly higher-than-normal temperatures and plenty of sunshine to close out the first week of fall.
For those with any outdoor activities or plans to head to outdoor sporting events, conditions should be near ideal.
Typical daytime highs for this time of year are usually in the upper 60s. Temperatures over the weekend will hover near the 75 F mark.
Saturday could be the warmest for the region. After morning fog dissipates, sunny skies will open and hold over the metro area.

Fans headed to baseball games across the Midwest will see prime conditions, including Detroit Tigers' fans. The Tigers will continue their final home stand of the year against Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park.
With no rain in the forecast, fans attending any of the remaining games will have favorable conditions for baseball.
