Minneapolis: Mainly Dry, Pleasant Weekend in Store

October 23,2014; 10:53PM,EDT

Temperatures will remain 5-10 degrees above average for this time of year in the Minneapolis area for the weekend.
Unseasonably warm weather is in store on Friday as afternoon temperatures will be 10-15 degrees above average for this time of year. However, a disturbance moving through the area will cool the region down for the weekend, but temperatures will remain above average.
Saturday won't be as warm, but it will remain mild and dry with partly sunny skies, before changes arrive for the end of the weekend.

Clouds are expected to increase during the evening on Saturday, and mostly cloudy skies will start the day on Sunday.
A couple of brief showers may develop on Sunday and Monday as a storm system approaches from the west.
