Harrisburg: 2014, December to End Cold and Dry

Progressively colder conditions are in the offing for Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, during the last days of 2014 and December and into the start of 2015.
High temperatures will trend downward through the 40s and 30s F through the middle of the week.
The average high for the end of December is in the upper 30s.
For the many people who will be venturing out on New Year's Eve, temperatures at midnight will be in the middle 20s with AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures likely to be in the upper teens.

For those traveling to sporting events or partaking in outdoor activities through New Years day in the region, the weather should not throw any snowballs this way. Generally dry conditions are forecast from Monday through Friday.

The first storm of 2015 is due in on Friday night into Saturday.
Despite the cold week ahead, temperatures could rise enough for that storm to bring rain, instead of snow or ice.
