Chicago: Frigid Air to Last Into the Weekend

Frigid conditions will keep temperatures in Chicago well below normal into the weekend.
While normal highs this time of year in the city are in the upper 30s, temperatures through Saturday will range from the mid-teens to low 20s and it will be partly sunny each day.
On Thursday AccuWeather ReelFeel® temperatures will be in the single digits, and there could be some snow showers coming off Lake Michigan, with accumulations up to an inch or two during the day, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Maggie Samuhel said.

Overnight lows through Friday will remain in the single digits, with ReelFeel® temperatures reaching as low as 10 below zero F on Thursday and Friday.
By the end of the weekend, Samuhel said temperatures will reach the low 30s and there could be additional snowfall Saturday night into Sunday.
