Pittsburgh: Spring Warmth Remains on Hold to End March.

Spring warmth has remained absent from Boston much of March and that will continue to be the case as the month comes to a close.
Temperatures Sunday night will fall well short of the record-challenging lows from Saturday night, but that will not translate into a milder Monday.
A cold front will instead swing through by the start of Monday and once again prevent seasonably milder air from returning. Brisk winds and a rain shower will return. Snow showers will fly to the north.
On the heels of this system will be another set to spread a narrow and quick-hitting band of snow from the Upper Midwest to the Northeast Tuesday into Tuesday night.

Latest indications point toward this snow band passing by to the north of Pittsburgh, but the system will be monitored for a potential southward shift to its track.
If the storm takes a more southern track than currently expected, temperatures may fall short of Tuesday's current forecast high and snow could fall.

A significant chill at midweek will not follow Tuesday's system. Temperatures on Wednesday will actually be fairly seasonable for the start of April.

Another surge of warmth will follow for Thursday, sending temperatures into the 70s and even setting the stage for a thunderstorm to rumble. As is typical of spring, the mild air does not look to hold firm with yet another shot of cool air in the works for Easter weekend.
