Seasonable warmth will span the next few days in the Chicago area before temperatures drop later this week.
The early week will remain dry and sunny with temperatures in the low 50s F.

"A high pressure system at midweek will keep things warming up," AccuWeather Meteorologist Becky Elliot said.
Cloud coverage will increase into the middle of the week, but Wednesday will stay dry with unusually high temperatures in the mid-60s.

Rain will move in late Wednesday night and continue throughout the week.
"A drop in temperatures along with the rain may even bring some snow late in the week," Elliot said.
However, snow that does fall will not lead to any accumulation. The system will clear out before the weekend.
