Tropical Storm Seymour to Become a Hurricane

Tropical Storm Seymour formed Sunday afternoon well off the coast of Mexico and is expected to become a hurricane. Seymour is the 18th-named storm of the eastern Pacific hurricane season.
This system will move west-northwest away from Mexico and is no threat to land.

  • Tropical Storm Seymour was located over 350 miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, as of Sunday night.
  • Seymour is forecast to strengthen and reach hurricane strength on Monday.
