Weather to improve for storm cleanup over Southern California into early next week

As the storm responsible for flooding moves inland, an extended break from heavy rainfall is in store for much of Southern California later this weekend into next week.
Runoff from rainfall during Friday and Friday night will continue to cause debris flows and high stream levels through this weekend.
However, the overall weather conditions will improve as the weekend progresses, but most days will feature some degree of cloud cover.

While storms will continue to roll in from the Pacific Ocean into next week, the main storm track will be across Northern California.
Showers will pivot through Southern California from time to time. The heaviest rainfall and the greatest threat for flooding will be over the central and northern counties of the state.

Daytime temperatures will be on the cooler side of average into much of next week. Highs most days will be within a couple degrees of 60 degrees Fahrenheit around Los Angeles.
