Coldest Spring on Record? After mild,snowless winter of 2016-17,this spring 2017 could go down as one of the coldest on record,certainly in recent memory.

After one constant for the weather pattern for this past winter (a mild,dry weather pattern),the weather pattern for the 2017 spring season has been constantly changing, making it hard to pin down one characteristic for this spring,though only one constant seems to be the rainy,stormy weather pattern that has stuck around here in the Northeastern US almost constantly since March 2017.Here's the high and low temperatures and departures from normal for White Plains,NY,in suburban Westchester County just north of NYC,for the 2017 spring season so far,as of 12:50AM,EDT,May 25,2017 from accuweather.com:
