One person was killed Thursday after storms triggered flooding in Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
A man in his 30s was attempting to unclog a pond near the Armstrong County line in western Pennsylvania when he was sucked into a pipe by raging waters, according to WCMH.
The storms dumped more than 8 inches of rain in Shelocta, an Indiana County town of 126 people. The storms also knocked fracking tank trailers off train tracks and left 2 feet of standing water on Shelocta's Main Street, WPXI reports. There were no reports of injuries.
Several other roads in the county were closed by floodwaters.
