Several major outdoor events are set to take place across the United Kingdom from Friday into the weekend, including Wimbledon and the British Grand Prix.
The final weekend of Wimbledon will feature a return of warmth along with largely dry weather.
Temperatures will approach or pass 27 C (80 F) both Saturday and Sunday. The normal high in London in mid-July is 21 C (70 F).
Along with the above-normal temperatures, each day will feature a mixture of cloud and sunshine.
While dry weather is expected for most of the weekend, there could be the odd shower on either day.
Any rainfall will be light and generally last 15 minutes or less, so no significant delays to play are expected.
Farther north, the British Grand Prix will take place at Silverstone, with qualifying on Saturday and the race taking place Sunday afternoon.
Again, most of the weekend is expected to be free of rain, but a few showers may dampen the track briefly on Saturday and Sunday.
Cloud will dominate both days with high temperatures near 24 C (75 F).

The Royal International Air Tattoo will take place from Friday into Sunday at RAF Fairford, featuring daily flying displays and 535 total aircraft.
While a brief shower is possible both Saturday and Sunday, the bigger concern will be that gusty winds could disrupt some of the flying displays.
Saturday will be the windiest day, with gusts to 25 mph (40 km/h) during the midday and afternoon hours.
Henham Park will host Latitude Festival 2017 from Thursday through Sunday.
Generally dry weather will prevail throughout the festival, although there could be a brief shower or two from Friday into Sunday.
It will feel cool Thursday and Friday with high temperatures near 19 C (66 F); however, warmer air will arrive for the weekend with highs expected to approach 23 C (73 F) both days.
