A variety of notable events will occur across the United Kingdom later this week; however, the weather may make attending them less enjoyable.
Bestival Music Festival will take place from Thursday through Sunday in a new location in East Lulworth.
There will be a threat for rainfall each day of the festival with high temperatures ranging from 16-18 C (61-64 F).
The best chance for showers on Thursday will be during the afternoon, but much of the day is expected to be rain-free. Spells of rain are expected on Friday with the steadiest falls expected during the morning and midday hours.
Saturday will start off dry; however, there will be the threat for showers and maybe a rumble of thunder during the afternoon. Sunday will also start off dry before showers arrive during the afternoon.
The Goodwood Revival, a tribute to motor sports, will take place from Friday through Sunday in Chichester at the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
Wet weather will be an issue for both racing and spectating each day. Friday appears to be the wettest day as practice sessions occur throughout the day. Showers will threaten activities Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Daily high temperatures will range from 17-19 C (63-66 F).

A different type of racing will also be going on across the United Kingdom this week as the Tour de Britain takes place through Sunday.
Showers and gusty winds could affect the Stage 4 on Wednesday across the Midlands.
The time trial in Clacton-on-Sea on Thursday will likely be the best chance for a dry stage this week.
The final three stages will take place across Southern England and southern Wales from Friday through Sunday with wet and blustery weather expected each day.
This unsettled weather pattern is expected to continue across the United Kingdom through much of next week.
